Epilia: Epilepsy and Community (Abbreviated title: Epilia) is a peer-reviewed Open Access journal covering the medical, scientific, and social aspects of seizures and epilepsy. The Journal is the official publication of the Korean Clinical Epilepsy Research Society which is published biannually (March 31 and September 30) in either Korean or English. All articles are available to the public free of charge. The primary readers are clinicians and research professionals specializing in seizures and epilepsy with a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, including neurology, psychiatry, and psychology, nursing, and sociology. Epilia: Epilepsy and Community publishes scientific and clinical articles aimed at reflecting the state of the art in the broad field of seizures and epilepsy including social aspect and welfare of patients with epilepsy. Epilia: Epilepsy and Community also allows patients and their family members share their experiences, knowledge, and views in all fields of seizures and epilepsy.
